Welcome back.

As you have probably noticed, WinthropFans.com has experienced some severe technical problems and quite a bit of down-time in the last several months. Without getting into all of the details, let's just say that the host company I was dealing with was not easy to work with. This latest downtime came with no notification, no response to my messages, and for all I can tell, my old host is out of business. So I've had to scramble to find a new host and maintain the Winthropfans.com domain name (which was slated to expire this week). Anyway, I've secured both the domain and a new host, and I'm essentially restarting WinthropFans.com from scratch, exactly 5 years after the site first launched.

So yes, all of the old posts are gone (though I lost most of the data a few months ago anyway when the board last had major problems)...and yes, you'll have to re-register. I apologize for the inconvenience, but it was easier for me to do a clean re-start than to try and get access to the old data. This is also the newest version of the phpBB boards, so there are a few new bells and whistles, which I'm still learning about.

And yes, when I have a bit more time to work on it, I'll have the colors and layout changed a bit so that it will look less generic...unfortunately this has all come at my busiest time of year with my job, so it's been difficult for me to spend much time getting this all fixed.

So again, I apologize for all of the problems. I can't guarantee that there will never be any downtime again, but I think the new hosting situation will be healthier for the board in the long run (though while I'm tweaking the design/features/permissions over the next few weeks, you may see some bugs).
