I'm glad that the Holmes decision has been made. Now, I wonder what the odds are of him getting kicked off of the team before January.

This didn't seem to get much press, but Mike Holmes of Coastal Carolina (formerly of South Carolina) was denied a medical redshirt, so after sitting out the fall semester, he'll be a senior, playing out his final season of college ball. So Coastal will get about 20 games out of him...
Glad to see not everyone can get away with abusing the system.
It would have been a total farce if he was granted a medical redshirt.

and I'd give him a 50% chance of getting kicked off the team....
